We work with a locally determined salary structure. You will progress by annual increments to the maximum of your pay band. We also add annual cost of living increases (3% in 2018).

Continuous Professional Development (CPD) will be supported and encouraged by your manager.

Car user allowances
Employees required to travel regularly by car for business (1750+ miles per annum) are eligible for ‘essential user’ allowances. The Council’s pool and hire cars are also available for employees travelling less frequently.
Lease car scheme
A lease car scheme is available to employees at band 11 and above, and qualifying essential car users. Car tax, fully comprehensive insurance and servicing costs are also included within the scheme.
Gym and leisure centre discounts
