Corporate Fraud Officer (22.5 Hours per week)

Fixed term contract until 31st March 2021.

Have you ever thought about a career in identifying fraud? Playing an important role in our internal audit team, we are looking for someone who has a great eye for detail, in identifying and evaluating fraud risks. As a self-starter, you will undertake proactive work to mitigate the risk of fraud, bribery and corruption, detecting any potential fraud.

Work will be varied from implementing a Counter Fraud Strategy plan, to investigating matters resulting from allegations or evidence of irregularity or fraud. With your knowledge and skills, you’ll train others to identify and detect fraud.

The post is unique in that it requires similar skills and abilities of both an internal auditor and a fraud investigator, but also the ability to develop, promote and raise awareness of the Council’s corporate fraud arrangements, through arranging joint initiatives and protocols with outside bodies, marketing and the undertaking of targeted training with staff and Members.

In return the Council will offer you free parking, flexi scheme and perkbox discounts and rewards.
