Senior Planning Officer (Enforcement)

Permanent, 37 hours p/w

£36,482 – £39,287 per annum.

Are you a dynamic, quick thinking team player with excellent attention to detail? Are you a member of the RTPI? If so, this role is for you. You will be able to provide an effective Planning Enforcement service relating to the investigation of alleged breaches of planning control, listed building consent and advertisement regulations including the determination of related planning applications. You will be responsible for lawful development certificates and the preparation and presentation of recommendations on formal action including attendance and representing the Local Planning Authority at formal enforcement appeals.

 

Your skills will include being a confident team player and possess excellent communication skills including verbal and written, and be able to work to fixed deadlines.

Revenue and Benefits Officer

Full time 37 hours per week, permanent

Salary: £25,973 – £27,970 per annum

Are you an enthusiastic, well driven and committed individual? Do you enjoy challenging and varied work? If so, then a role in our in our busy Revenues and Benefits Team would be perfect for you!

With the main duties of this role being the calculation of Housing Benefit / Local Council Tax Reduction and the administrations of Council Tax and Business Rates accounts. You will have the chance to demonstrate your excellent customer care, communication and interpersonal skills.

If you have experience of working in a Revenues and Benefits environment, and have a good understanding of the law of local taxation and benefits, then you are the right person we are looking for.

Customer Service Administrator

25 hours per week

To deliver the day to day functions of the post room, print services, cash receipting and delivering excellent service to both internal and external customers. Delivering a support service to reception during busy periods and assisting customers with making self-service reports via the Council’s website.

Working times:

Monday – Thursday 12pm-5pm

Friday 11.30am – 4.30pm

Systems Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to help steer the authority into the new unitary from April; the Systems Officer will be responsible for reviewing and monitoring performance across the council.  This will be realised through the ongoing review of service delivery and the systems required to achieve this.  The successful applicant will be responsible for the dissemination of system knowledge and proficiency across services to ensure business resilience.

Planning Technical Administration

To provide administrative support for the (Planning) Development Control Team of Daventry District Council, ensuring the statutory requirements are met within the required deadlines.

We are looking for someone with high quality administration and dealing with the public. You’ll also need to be able to interpret maps and plans.
