Planning Officer (Full time)


£31,652 – £34,086

We are looking for a Planning Officer to join our Development Control Team.

Your role will be to determine the planning applications, pre application advice, appeals and enforcement.

Whilst you are making life better for people in Daventry, we’ll make life better for you.

Caretaker (Part time)


£18,043 – £19,429 pro rata for hours worked

We are looking for an experienced part time caretaker with a good level of practical skills and general DIY knowledge/experience.

Be able to work within a team and on your own.

Be polite and courteous to members of the public & colleagues.

Understanding of health and safety.

Hours of work are:

Monday to Thursday – 06:30 to 10:30 and 10:30 to 14:30

Friday – 06:30 to 12:30 and 12:30 and 18:30.

Alternate Saturday working (shared with another caretaker)

Technical Administrator (Development Control)

12 month fixed term contract

£21,045 – £22,663

Daventry is an ambitious District with a £100 million regeneration programme including a cinema, restaurants, and a leisure centre in the east of the District.

In this essential role you’ll provide an effective administrative service to the development control team by processing planning applications, pre-applications, appeals and enforcements.

We’re looking for someone with experience of providing high quality administration and dealing with the public.

You’ll also need to be able to interpret maps and plans.

Whilst you are supporting the development control team working on developments, we’ll make sure you are supported too.
